Most people that buy a used simi do it the same way as buying a used car.

Look at the color, make, modal, millage, lift the hood (yes it has a motor) take it for a test drive, kick the tires... all good I buy truck.! Then 3,6, 9 months later they come on here all pissed at the dealer because they sold them a BAD truck..

Friend got a used truck with around 300k and 6 weeks later had to change the motor. Not rebuild but replace the block..! It was a 3 year old volvo that he got from the volvo dealer

How much did your friend pay for that new motor and how much did the dealer pay?

He'd found a used motor for around $12,000 plus install

Dealer let them use a loner truck then charged them rental fee. So in the end the dealer didn't do anything

This is the same dealer that when changing my charge air cooler dropped MY hood and shattered the top. Didn't tell me until I went to pick up the truck

if you get a bad truck then its YOUR FAULT for not spending the time to have the truck checked out.

most people buying their first used truck just go find a truck, like the color, it runs, I buy truck. then gee it breaks down and some how it the dealers fault....!!!

when you buy a USED car do you get all pissie if you have breakdown...?

my used lone mountain now has 1.2 million miles on it, only repairs I've had over $2,000 is a clutch, turbo, cac,air compressor injector cups. that in the last 700,000 miles....

maybe you need to learn how to have a truck check BEFORE you buy it
