How far can that Walcott radio listen and talk?

 

4 times the power for 4-10 miles or stock final for 35 miles as the crow flies with a mountain between us? I think I'd stick with the stock final for better results and less power and less Heat.

 

You said 4 times the power, 40 watts is 2 1/2 times the power ( 16 stock) and if the carrier is 10 watts ( thats a joke) its only double the power mr mathmetician. Did Walcotts dare show you the big bad radio on a spectrum analyzer so you can see the actual watts that are on the intended frequency and how many watts are splattering out of the frequency? I would guess probably not, but Im sure there are some members here ( Rabbi) that just may have a video of a Walcott radio on a SA, but you know what if you are happy with it thats all that matters.

 

Dont let the door hit you in the arse on the way out, by the way Walcott is going to like you , because when that radio blows up you will be back in his shop to get a new one( because warrenty is void now) maybe this time buy a Stryker 955 with 80+ watts when everyone else advertises 70 watts out of the same #### radio.
