Well, we made the deal for the three trailers. So when I get home I get to fill out all the paperwork. The part that I hate the most.

Wrote the check for the down payment on the trailers today. The all steel is rough but still serviceable after some blasting and paint.

Keeping quiet and listening can open many doors for you. Today I got some information that could mean 150k to 300k per year gross to the coffers. Having done work for these guys at a previous employer they already know my work. In talking to the truck boss today his face lit up when I told him that I now have my own truck.

Basically they want someone to replace the current carrier moving their oversized and heavy crap.

They are moving a lot of their own small stuff now to keep the other carrier out but it may work out that I can pick that up too if i get my foot in the door.

On another note, I now know what I am doing when this job finishes. They have 17k tons of asphalt to get down before December and they are starting about the time I finish with this project.
