    well it was as set of pups, may have been a linehaul driver coming near the end of his nighttime shift. i worked linehaul as well and it was not uncommon to be at work for about midnight (depending on one's seniority) and be getting back before 12 noon time. falling asleep could have been what happened.

    I'm not sure of how this happen but maybe the camera will tell it. Its sad the driver lost his life in this accident. But there have been a lot of trucks and bridge accidents in the past 1yr. Either in direct hits with tractor, low over pass bridge strikes, or trucks taking on bridges that there to heavy for.

    Wouldn't matter, still ultimately falls on the driver. Be an adult, if you're tired don't drive.

    I saw the title and though a YRC should be smart enough not to top a trailer, but I see he hit the support. Sounds like a microsleep.

    No skid marks in the grass so they ether fell asleep or had a medical issue. At any rate RIP driver. :(
