    HORRIBLE SCAMMING COMPANY!
They're a family owned business which is why their secrets on how they operate are not let out. READ YOUR CONTRACT CAREFULLY!! By contract you are sworn to secrecy not to discuss anything that has to do with Triple C Transit even after 3 years of termination of contract.. Treats O/O like company drivers, they say they're not forced dispatched but they do and they will put you on a load you didn't know about until the broker calls you. They ONLY work 8a-5p Mon-Fri NO WEEKENDS or certain days such as Presidents day, memorial days, etc (Thanksgiving, Christmas are acceptable) which means NO BOOKING of LOADS will be done after 5p or WEEKENDS! They have an answering service but thats it! They answer to tell you no one's in the office, call back regular business hours. Dispatch doesn't know what they're doing! They're very slow, they takes hours, days, even a whole weekend to book a load for you. If you dont take a load they offer (even though they claim No forced dispatch) they'll throw a tantrum and you'll be sitting for awhile. Escrow Fund is a scam. Its meant for maintenaince & repair strictly but they'll use it as their own personal bank account and use it for whatever they want and if you ask them for your Escrow thats a for sure way of pissing them off. You'll never recieve a Com-Check from your own ESCROW.. They rather send you to some shop (close friend/family) thats not very well known for your repairs/maintenaince and THEY will pay them with THEIR COMPANY CREDIT CARD and write it as a LOAN on your settlement.. Its like asking your parents for money to go on a date and they tell you how much to spend, where to spend it & give them the total so they can pay it for you. They treat you like a child and demand to have their needs meet but dont care about yours. They will definitely keep you broke while ENRICHING their own pockets! They will charge you for things that should never be charged UNLESS agreed upon by written consent.. Stay Away from Triple C Transit if you prefer to keep your family intact, food on the table, bills paid and not be broke..

    Oh man, so many issues...
Don't know the company, don't care to....

Ok, first. Escrow should be just that. It's a 3rd party holding the funds If they never set up one leave
When that unknown broker called, the correct answer should be "I have no idea what you are talking about, call whoever you booked the load with."
After the first time the business hours became an issue, you should have left.
If they pay for shop work on your truck, that IS a loan. It's your truck, go where you want.
Wanna give some examples of charges they have, that's not in the contract?

Escrow is is kept for maintenaince/repair on MY truck for ME to withdraw from when & if I need it, NOT for them to tell me where to take MY truck & how much I'm allowed to spend, but thats exactly what they did. They dont release any Escrow funds that clearly stated in contract that when receiving written notice from driver to withdraw funds they release the funds to driver. I never had repairs done but Escrow fund was depleted. No summary of where expenses went were ever given. Charges of ELD data and equipment fees, Insurance charges that I personally pay on for my truck and they charged me for their own insurance on my truck. Contract states O/O do not have to rent, buy or use any of their equipment to be hired on. I never did.. Charges to use ComData from $2-$15, decals to advertise their company. They nickle and dime you. They dont have a set amount of what's taken from your pay, its different weekly amounts. And YES I left!

That's my point. They did NOT set up an escrow account for you. They set up a deposit account and called it an escrow account. By definition an escrow is held by a 3rd party,
I'm mostly just pointing that out for others. If they get a hold of a company that has an escrow account, but it's not held by a 3rd party they need to run away.
As for all the charges that were not specified in your contract... Sue them to recover that money, if ion fact it's not in the contract somewhere.

Previous coworker ran for them, left when he dropped a motor and is running aggregate to rebuild funds.

He did fairly well there, 75% of load with 100/week rental on a fairly new flatbed.
I'll ask him about the escow issues tomorrow. His story matches 80% of owner op failures. Dropped everything he had into the truck and a new set of tires, 2 months later dropped a block and couldn't afford the rebuild.

Key benefit is that they let him bring on his 97 without any issues.

So what does that mean? Are you saying EVERY TIME someone gets screwed, it is their own fault for "putting themselves in that situation"? Ridiculous, over-the-top, broad, mindless, statement!
In this industry, you can read, read, read, ask question, clarify, hire a lawyer to read, read, read...ultimately sign on when everything looks legit; and get screwed any way---and if you don't know that @johnwayne187 apparently this is either your first year, or you found the perfect company straight out of the gate, or you're oblivious, or all of them.

Triple C is a great company to work for. I have driven for them for quite a while now. My dispatchers do not work weekends but if I need them I have a way to get a hold of them. My truck stays rolling thanks to them. As far as an escrow account yes they pay with the company credit card and take it out off my escrow amount, which is available to me at anytime. They do send me to the shop that I am going to be able to get the work done at in a reasonable time at a reasonable cost. They don't want me taken advantage of by a mechanic. They have never told me I couldn't get repairs done anywhere else. I have always made money with them. And have turned down loads without an issue. I just want everyone to know that just because one driver can't make it work that does not mean the company is the problem.
