My opinion, take it however you want,$1.85 running your own numbers is pathetic. Adjust for quick pay, factoring, high insurance and 10 to 15% more for real miles and you could do better leasing to a good carrier.
Did I mention the possibility of getting stiffed on a load.
Your wanting to go in business and extend credit to company's you don't know

 

Ran my numbers 2014; own authority: $2.545 cost per mile, every mile driven.


This year to date: I'm a little over $160k gross. I haven't kept track of mileage. Prolly 40-45k?

Bid #### so you can dh home. Then look for reloads on top of it.

Primarily legal dim. Maybe 2% OD. Home every weekend & Every nite....unless I work overnite.


Drink beers. Think "#### em." Bid based on that.

First thing I thought was... how do you know your cost per mile to the 3rd decimal but not know the miles ran..? Or just playing coy..
