    I just noticed , looking at the front of the radio the last digit of the frequency counter display has almost disappeared it is turning black, I hope I dont have a serious problem and the whole display goes black.

    Anyone have a similar occurance with a BC 880 or 980? If yes did the whole display eventually go bad ?

    Learned my lesson the hard way with a VCR player ( remember those) that my electronic repair skills are nonexistant, it is best for me to leave the covers on and seek professional help, if you can find it these days.
