I did that same thing about 1.5 years ago - but I reported it.
I checked the requirements for the area and it was strung too low, but it didn't matter and I was hit with a preventable accident by my company.
But I would rather slide by with a preventable for a couple years than not report it and have someone else do it for me. That would be much bigger offense - and one that might get me fired.
Failure to report an accident can get you hosed from this industry real quick.
Just not worth it, in my opinion.
And you won't know in a day, or possibly even a week or more. It takes time for someone to report it, send video if available, the company to start an investigation etc..CrappieJunkie and Kyle G. Thank this. -

I don't know how anyone can even answer his question without knowing who he drives for? Unless it's been said and I missed it. Different companies handle stuff like this in different ways.

He very likely can still get in trouble, both by law and by company policy, for the hit and run. -
