Ok man, this is just crazy. You bought a POS truck, opened your own authority, don't have money for a trailer and have no clue where to get work after being a driver for 17 years. You are either a troll, or a special kind of stupid.
flatbeb mac, jdiesel3406, Night_driver and 5 others Thank this. -
I was going to post a snide comment but I can feel the anxiety in your post. I've gained a lot of information from members on this site so ill try to contribute for a change.
You need to give up your MC. You don't have the slightest clue on how to be a single truck business owner but you want to be a Motor Carrier? This makes no sense whatsoever.
You're so under funded there is no way you can make this work. Without a trailer you would need to apply to a power only company and last time I checked the most they're paying is around 1.40. That's if you have multiple trucks, as a single truck o/o there's no way you're breaking 1.30.
Give up you're authority asap and sign up with one of the big guys like Landstar. I can't really help you with picking one as I have always worked for smaller companies. Use the Search function on the top right corner.
The spot market is really good right now and anyone can make money just by simply moving the truck. I averaged 2.15 for the entire month of June, on all miles, just to give you an idea.
As for right now cancel your insurance and just get bobtail from OOIDA. Im paying 40 a month for bobtail atm.
Also get a Business credit car like Chase Business ink that has no interest for the fist year because I dont see you getting a check by the time the bills roll in. Most companies pay you at the end of the second week.Night_driver and bowhunter67 Thank this. -
I have a feeling there's a Maxxforce in that Pro Star. Buddy is in troubleBrettj3876 Thanks this.

Please tell us its a Cummins. Serious question. Can you still back out on the ppurchase? If its a Maxxforce, i mean shatforce your going to be sitting every other wk.
I feel for you man but 17 years experience and you just jumped in head 1st with no F's given. -
It's hard to believe you made the jump to o/o without a business plan. With 17 yrs you say driving you completely went backwards. The trk you got was a bad investment, you got your M/C without knowing how to operate it. I know we all make mistakes but yours is the worst one. Re evaluate and stop the mc. It will put you in bankruptcy court fast. I started with one trk and a great business plan and four month reserve in the bank. I don't know what kind of advise you got but it's all wrong. Email private and we can talk and I can help you if you truly want it.JimmyWells Thanks this.
