Am trying to buy me a truck and work for myself within the next year or two. Can anyone lead me to some info that I can read or help me try and understand the process of getting started? Thank you ... I live in California and plan on staying local.
Need O/O help pls...

Buying a truck isn't like buying a car, learn how to buy one and have the money to check it out.
RunningAces Thanks this. -
Check out SoCal trucker on YouTube. He has a bunch information on local work in the LA area

FMCSA website is by far the best place for info. Get info right from the horses mouth. You will make more money as a company driver, although the freedom is nice.

Are you trying to run under your own authority? How much money do you have saved up? Do you know where you'll be finding work?

ATM i'm working on getting my credit fixed up and doing all the homework I can do. I would like to know as much as I can before making any decisions. What i'm looking for is info on what a person needs to do in order to have his ducks in a row ... so to speak. Thanks for your help everyone.
