I also tend to believe @WyBran on the particular story about this driver. Their explanation of the driver's actions fit the story.
However, I'm going to pass on your excuse for the CSA score. I'm sure it is a cash grab for law enforcement in the oilfield areas. I think that would be a reason to keep everything well-maintained. I'm sure after a while they have companies they watch more closely than others because of past problems. -
Hold on now, you got some of that story all wrong, I backtracked 150 miles due to a highway being shutdown and was the fastest route possible, seeing a girl? That is some conclusion, I had gotten sick and my friend who lived there who's name is john (not a girl but a 57 yr old man) was home and came 100 miles to get me) I was never late on a load but for that one. I also never got offered a bus ticket. Your night dispatcher before even seeing my passenger told me and I quote "get your #### and get off the truck" not till I started cleaning out the truck did he see my passenger which is my girlfriend. Don't try to make yourself look good cause you run your trucks illegally. Oh and good luck getting good drivers to drive your trucks with elogs making .36cpm, what a joke and I'm glad I'm not there anymore. Trucks had no insulation so even with apu and engine running it didn't stay cool and the apu kept breaking and nothing was done. Good companies have good CSA and Wybran does not and is not a good company. A friend who drove for them at the time idk if he still does got pulled over and the officer told him they specifically pull wybran trucks over for the very reason of running illegal and the csa which is a 99 and my friend was shown that by the Dot officer.

Why did you go out of route without calling into the company first? Communications is key here.
As for eld. Well everyone (mostly) will be required to use them within 6 months. It's only good policy to get use to them now.Paul Bunyan Thanks this. -
I'm not working for a company if I have to tell them I'm taking a detour but I was late cause I had kidney stones and went to the hospital and if you've ever had them your mind isn't on grabbing your phone, yeah I could of did things different but them leaving me stranded was inexcusable. I worked for them a couple months and was pulled in and inspected more in that time than my whole time trucking combined. Also they kept my last paycheck and kept some stuff I had forgotten on the truck

Stay far away from any oilfield company that
Does OTR to keep the trucks moving when
The patch goes bust.
There equipment will be pure garbage and they
Have that same, break all the rules,we don't care
About DOT,work 30 hours straight,lying,cheating,
Stealing attitude, that's normal in the oilfield.
There's a bunch of dirtbag outfits like this down
Here in Texas.
There days are numbered. 5 more months and
A bunch of these lawbreaking,old school,outlaw
Coked up drivers and Companies will disappear.
That's right I said coked up drivers, how else do
You think they work 60 hours in 3 days.
I been there and seen it.Paul Bunyan Thanks this. -

Yes I have. As a matter of fact I was there when
A big oilfield company brung in all there outside
Contractors, including little outlaw companies
Just like this, locked them in the gate with the
Federal marshals there, and drug tested everybody
Right in the spot.
I you refused you where fired and blackballed from
All of thier well sites. They even searched all vehicles, not just the drivers.
That's how bad it was during the boom.
You ever seen grown men cry when there about to lose
There 80,000 a year job and have to tell there wife about it.
You stick to your target loads, you don't have a clue.
I live down here. Worked in the patch and know
Plenty of trucker friends who still do.
And I know what they do for entertainment.
That's why they stay there. No rules.Paul Bunyan Thanks this. -
Federal marshalls were there drug testing... Yea right.
Although I have to admit that now I'm local I have been missing the amusing truckstop counter bs. Thanks for sharing a bit of it.Paul Bunyan and cnsper Thank this. -
I can't confirm the drug testing thing but the rest I can attest too. But it's not hard to believe that marshalls did the testing when your dealing with a large national company that makes billions.
