Am I to old at 64

    I'm 64 on July 13th.
    I Work every day, Saturday and Sunday,too on my side job, for myself.
    Hope it works out well for you, several good comments/suggestions here.
    I have my own truck, so no-one to "not" hire me, since 1983.

    No way you're not too old. Your generation is one of the last of men's men. Masculinity is a dying breed and I guarantee you wouldn't think twice about some of the stuff guys my age group (upper 20's, flirting with 30) and younger complain about.

    Your age is not an issue if you're in good shape, especially for flatbed. McElroy has a pretty good agility test. Good Luck

    My old man instilled in me a work attitude he was a WWII vet with 2 ships he was on was sunk by the japanese and he went through dozens of kamikaze attacks and he spent 6 months in pearl harbor in a coma and caught malaria he was 1 tough hillbilly from tenn.

    Absolutely man. Unbelievable what some of those fine men went thru. Thanks to their bravery and sacrifice we are able to have our way of life today, and able to reach out to others on forums like TTR. Greatest Generation hands down. A well deserved title for those outstanding men and women.

    He had 3 sons that were bigger than he was but the old dog had some serious fight in him I didn't screw with him he learnt ju jitsu in the navy,the old fart went to jail for 6 months for resisting arrest and kicking 6 cops butts.
