I'm not really sure, what makes more money? What's easier on equipment? What works year round? I was hauling fly ash out of power plants in Wisconsin/Illinois. I'm green behind the ears on this one.

Nothing in the oilfield is easy on equipment. Rough roads, dumb drivers, road debris, mud, snow, cold, rain. We don't really stop for anything. I'd say get on with a company hauling production water just to get your feet wet. There's plenty of service companies that rent out their trailers and provide dispatch. You'll need a wet kit, 3 rail tire chains, fire retardant clothing, and plenty of money for breakdowns. Whoever you lease on with will provide a list of training classes, aux equipment, and expectations.Lepton1 Thanks this.
