Saved From Scrap

Here we go. Website decided to cooperate this time.

 

Not much on the agenda for today. Just plan on prep and painting about 3/4 of the truck frame and steam cleaning the diff. The guys who CNC'd my cab brackets had the brilliant idea of backlighting the emblems so I may get to work on building some brackets for holding the lights this weekend.

 

Whew! Put about 20 hours in on this project this past week. Time for a rest lol. Still need to install shock mounts, axle stops and air bags.

 

This project might come to a burning end so to speak. Forest fire is creeping up on us. We're on alert right now

 

Hard to say what I'd do if I lost the truck. I would probably buy another that was roadworthy and pimp it out instead of a full cab off deal. Either that or go buy a RCSB 2wd GMC pickup and build it to run 10's in the 1/4 mile lol.

 

Sounds like they've got some rain there and have everything under control. I think we're good.
