Yep, couple of 4 times. I used to say "call the cops if you need to and I'll get towed out when they order me off, but by the time the tow truck gets here, my break will done". Most of the time that shut them up. Now I dont play around. If youre not ready to load me I leave.

would put a stop this a lot of this garbage real quick...booking a truck to pick up watermelons or chickens when the product is still sitting in the dirt or pecking at the ground at your appointment time. Smdh that garbage needs to stop..
Yes, carriers need to start holding shippers/receivers accountable . And drivers need to stand their ground - If I was on time and you load me late, then the load will deliver late. I'll run as hard and as smart as I legally can, but the shippers issues aren't my problem. But the carrier has to make sure that they and the driver are being adequately compensated for sitting - both for the delay getting loaded and any subsequent delays that arise as a result.

And all of you "plan ahead" "plan your day in advance" magical fairies need to Ess_Tee_Eff_UUU... Most of you work for big box outfits with terminals all over the country that can relay loads if you need to.
Yes, I do work for a major. Most of the time I don't relay those loads. I just end up going in late. If I end up sitting, I get paid. Not quite as well as running down the road, but pretty well for watching TV.

I got held up at a shipper today, I'd log the violation on paper logs too.
Once I reset the Qualcomm the "HOS Violation" will disappear and they'd have to notice the violation on their own

All OTR drivers have been subject to this regulation for years nothings new and if you plan right its not that hard to be off the road after your 14 hours are up, its called proper time management.

Bottom line: If you want to be told when your bedtime is and when your work time is and happy to comply with an idiotic set of inflexible rules.....you are just a government cuck.

The submissive drivers don't mind being pushed around by Big Gov. Seems like they enjoy it sometimes

We may not like it, but we caused this ourselves, we never talk about how drivers themselves are willing to listen to the company and do what they are told, we refuse to take others to task for their log cheating because they are told to do it by the company.

It is one thing that an owner is cheating on his logs, it is inexcusable for a company driver to do so, and it is the company driver we have to thank for the elog system because it is those companies who were targets to fix out of all of this, no one else.

Im surprised at our friends across the pond, if they cannot stay awake on a few hundred miles of wee island they should not come here to the colonies. Might be a thousand or three miles before getting some sleep.

Ive always enjoyed Bean for a variety of reasons.
