Alright, So i just got my license ( Class C) . Yes im 21 and im just getting my license. I never really had a need until this point because i've ALWAYS had someone to take me where ever i needed to go. Now i understand when you're applying to one of these mega-carrier companies they ask for a MVR. Being that i just got my license "literally" (Friday Afternoon) today would my mvr be acceptable enough for them to take me? Would i even have an MVR? Some people said they wouldn't. They said i have to wait 6 to 12 months. Is this true? I really hope not. I've been studying my ### off and i feel confident i can pass with flying colors. I'd just really be upset if i had to wait that 6-12 months. I've prepared and studies so hard.. someone please help me... im just a young man focused on bettering his future and trucking is the way

Most companies require you to have a Class-C for 12 months. One guy in NYC lucked out and was hired somewhere and only had his Class-C for 3 months. I think he went to either Millis Transfer or Carolina Cargo.
Yes, you have an MVR and it's blank, so that's a good thing.
Have you tried to get a CDL permit at the DMV?
One way you can at least start being involved in trucking is with household goods movers. Google : household 'movers' Rome,GA and also household 'goods movers' Rome,GA
and apply to those companies as a driver helper.
Some of those companies will let you drive with a cdl permit, but only with a CDL-A driver in the truck with you at all times.
The state of Georgia might pay for cdl school, if you get a pre-hire letter from a trucking company stating they will hire you at graduation. Georgia has a few programs to pay for cdl school. Carolina Cargo might give you the pre-hire letter. They run teams to California and back every week.

I was going to get them right after i finished getting my license but i thought you had to wait a certain amount of days. Would having my CDL permit increase my chances being thats what they are training you for in the first week? By passing that step

I'd get the permit now, then start applying for schools or driver helper jobs.
Sygma Network hires driver helpers with only the permit. So do household movers.

Study before taking the cdl permit tests.
CDL Practice Tests are on here plus Google : Free CDL Practice Tests Georgia
Study hard and memorize as much as you can.

Don't be smoking weed or doing anything else like that. Be prepared for regular drug tests. Some companies do urine tests and some do hair follicle tests.

Like tail gating and speeding through construction zones. He'll probably do fine.
