Shunt matching is simple...Just buy 2 shunt trucks the same and dyno them/tune exactly alike...DONE!!
-
I asked about that general idea ages ago and was told nooo it wouldnt work..
-
Mark probably told you that but that was something I wanted to recommend for talking skip for you although it would be useless locally
-
Actually it was on a cb forum not sure which though..
My idea was bacially a length of pipe with 109" of wire wrapped and connected to coax..
Strung across the top of the fairing of the trk..I was just shootin idea i would come up with..Like usual my lack of knowledge in the area always made my idea go in the garbage.. -
This is what I had in mind.

Gotcha..Looks like old tv rabbit ears..

I was just wonderin'. I've worked most of Europe, Russia, Japan, Hawaii, and the US with 7 feet of coax, all bands, all frequencies and ONE MOBILE antenna. How much does it take to be a "Big Dog"?
Don't sweat it, man, I'm just jokin' with ya!
Its all good!

You
Yup just screwing wit ya... YOU SPEAK ALL THOSE LANGUAGES. THINK YA MIGHT BE TOO SMART TO BE A TRUCK DRIVER. -
And the guy that sold it to you smiles because he knows you were ignorant enough to fall for the oldest trick in the book, and as soon as the final blows due to a masked high swr issue, he knows you'll be back to his shop for repair work.slim6596 Thanks this.
