Ag check ? Had a load of hay entering ca, they opened doors and inspected that, had some seed from another state that required some attention otherwise it's a weigh station, and or a bol check.
I don't stop at water craft check points with out any watercrafts unless instructed to do so, which hasn't happened to date.

Some states have restrictions on certain type boat engines allowed in certain lakes (2cycle VS 4cycle) I believe they "sticker" the allowed boats so enforcement can spot them easily. NEW boats travelling the highways in transit aren't required to stop, obviously.

Zebra mussels, quagga mussels, New Zealand Mud Snails and Eurasian milfoil, just to name a few. Lots of creepy-crawlies and hangers-on on boats and fishing equipment.
Don't forget to clean and dry your waders, either. Alberta just got hit by Whirling disease in trout, most likely introduced through a fishermen with an infected tubifex worm on the equipment.
Just stop, clean and dry the equipment, please? We don't want some of the critters other states have to deal with.
