Anyone who's even remotely thinking about working for Ron Brockman of Pearce worldwide logistics call me personally to get the real story on this company. I drove for them for a short time. Horrible experience. I am currently publishing a book as well as a blog on the internet. It's all based on the practices of these trucker rip off company's.
Florida is full of company's like Ron Brockmans and it's time to expose them for what they are.
They will rip you off...........
Warren Pearce Bad company.

How can anyone ever complain about pay for a company? I mean that should be the first thing asked. Rate, avg miles, etc...LtlAnonymous, passingthru69, Puppage and 1 other person Thank this.

These boards seem to back THAT statement up.LtlAnonymous and Cdemars316 Thank this.

I hope your book gives more details than these posts. Or is it going to be a mystery?

Rate, avg pay... hehe.
My company recruiter said "we don't pay by the mile, we pay by the load"... "but it pays an average of $150, no, you can make $150 to $200 a day"... " you can divide that by however many miles you drive if you want to figure out cents per mile... thingy"
I asked the other guy training with me who already had his CDL (they made him redo schooling after 3 years as a trucker), and he said they promised him $1250 a week. Turns out, he could have been making $300x6 + overtime = $1800-2400 a week.
But the position they put me in, I made $190 once. I pulled about $1200 a good week, once, while driving 70 mph everywhere I went. After that I slowed down cuz I found out I could lose my license if I got pulled over. Then I made $700 a week.
I hope they are reading this right now.
The guy who might have been making $1800-2400 wasn't very happy last I saw him. Pretty sure the speed limiter in his truck or the ancient equipment or pay by the load policy got to him. $800 a week probably.
So yeah, trucking companies flat out lie to new recruits about pay. And won't make legit statements about cpm. Yet they know how to pay everyone min wage and get away with it. Or in some cases, less than min wage if there's traffic.LtlAnonymous Thanks this. -
Why should we call you? You have an entire forum to vent your distaste.LtlAnonymous Thanks this.
