My boss leased to Meadowlark and there is ALOTmore going on than you really see. First of all I'm a company driver and get paid salary.(luckily)!!! The runs have been really short to 280-350 miles daily.these loads are loads that no other companies want to deal with on a daily basis.you get absolutely no detention time and I'm talking even after the " ALLEGED" 2 hour wait period I'm still sitting up to 7-10 hours per load.kinda crazy if you like having your trucks sitting and still paying salary wages to all your drivers.If you like running ALOT of northeast, Meadowlark is for you. IF you do luck up and get a west run ,well the paper and electronic log does not exist.we drivers do what we got to do until we run over something or someone them nobody has your back. I can do my fair share of work but these 18 hour days are getting old 5 days out of seven.Needless to say I'm packing up and moving on.

 

I've heard of Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern Time....but never Meadow Lark Time. Please explain.

 

Do not work for meadow...they Don,t own a truck or a trucking terminal....
