    This evenings BarKeep is Sarah.
She is very athletic, and stands an impressive 6' plus a few inches!
Has amazingly straight hair pulled into a ponytail that hangs halfway down her back.
Says she enjoys both volleyball and basketball, and played both in school.
When asked what she does in her free time, she replies, "manage the bank in town...."
    Wait,
So you manage the bank, tend bar, and find time to play ball??
"yeah, well I love ball, either in the sand or on the hardwood it's a ton a fun bouncing around"
As she's talking we watch her pour a drink for one of her regulars, we notice she filled a pint glass almost to the top with Captain, then gives it a splash of coke, as she passes it to a quiet individual at the bar she announces "one CFC!"
We can't help but ask, whats that stand for,
While drawing a picture perfect pint of Guinness she replies, "Coke Fur Color!" without missing a beat and smiles as she adds "ya like the Head I give,, a beer don't you!"

    Epic!

Did you try the plastic bag trick on Sarah?

    Afraid not.
Sarah was alotta fun though, and one hell of a bartender. She rarely messed up or missed an order, and always had the bill figured before she hit the register.
She really did manage the bank by day, aswell. No idea why, she could have owned the bar,

My high school English teacher taught me that this post in August is foreshadowing ... the eventual divorce in October.

But on a positive note, here is me and my kids on the Houston Court house steps after I filed for full custody on Monday

Brought this hear from another thread so I don't derail it. So chastise away lol

    Here is the situation:

My ex has been working in West Texas. I will skip a bunch of details but basically I decided to move here with the kids, so we cam share custody. After some discussion, we decided to hold off on getting 2 separate places and are sharing accomodations for now.

She pays for all expenses. So basically I am her live in nanny amd I spend full time with my 2 & 4 year old. I also cook & clean lol.

There is zero chance of reconciliation or desire on either part. We have basically spoiled our kids thru "attachment parenting" that they are too much work for either of us on our own.

The insane part is, we are living in her travel trailer. We will eventually find a house where the RV can be parked on site and whoever is watching the kids will be in the house with them and the other in the rv.

I play poker part time to keep me in hookers and blow money.

And when she has a bad day (and she does have those bad days), you're homeless or in the graybar hotel. What's the escape plan for when this goes sour? It seems like all of your eggs are easily squashable in one small basket.

The Hollywood version was called Mrs Doubtfire. Oh well, I hope that you tell me that I am wrong.

She left the kids to go to work in west Texas?

You are supposed to slam your hand in the door before you start the truck so you are pissed all day to drive it properly.

My escape plan, a hotel room, a bottle of Canadian rye and a lady of the night.

Relationships are all about power. I have the power because I'm the only one who can take care of the kids. If she were to boot me to the curb, she has no other options.

Back in Houston, she relied on her mom who was reliable but she won't come this far. Out here, she tried a lifelong friend, her sister in law and my daughter, all failed miserably and even resulted in her brother and sister in laws divorce.

No day cares will be open for her hours and a private sitter is 100% ruled out.

I could go back to Houston at any time with them and she couldn't stop me because she has no options for them but me.

Personally, I'm enjoying a break after working 80+ hours a week for 4 years with only 2 weeks off during that period.

More importantly, my dad has been battling cancer for almost 2 years and is nearing his end. I've been struggling with the fear of losing him but in my last in person visit with him, he told me when struggling with life, think most about your children and use them as your strength and guidance.

I never got to see my dad much until I was 12 but he has always been my hero and who I've aspired to be for all the wrong reasons probably. I'm blessed with this opportunity to be able to raise my kids for a while and its pretty awesome being the #1 influence in their life.

When they wake up in the middle of the night and they want daddy and not mommy, it makes me feel like I'm doing something right.

I've scorned way more than my fair share of women but my children's mom has always put our kids first even when she hates me. I'm not worried, I always find a way to land on my feet, guess I'm like a cat in that regard.
