Drug testing question!!!

They are risking it just think if you get in an accident your fault or not that is fatal you are a professional driver and will be issued a drug test side of the road no questions asked if you fail you could be charged with involuntary manslaughter because they can't prove you wasn't under the influence at the time but it was in your system. This is all worst case but my advice if you want to have this career I would lay off of it just my 2 cents you can certainly do what you want.

But do States government go by and say that mouth swabs are accurate you can get that done after the fact you are charged..... not worth it in my opinion

 

Even if it becomes legal in all states the trucking industry will never except it as being ok it's too hard to test for accurately in my opinion it sucks but is what it is

 

They're doing it at risk of their careers.

But that's neither here nor there when it comes to the DOT physical for your medical card. That doesn't involve a drug screening
