They used to check my id and you would have to sign for it. Just depends on person working the counter at that time.

    Nope.

Just you and your unit number. Remember you gave them everything when you hired on. The only things they don't know about is what you managed not to tell them. How Scientology LOLZ. /SARCASTIC.... I said sarcastic... otherwise the concept of funny wont work here.

What's left? United States Military Style Bio Metric Cards and a chip in your under arm area BLIP! Access granted. You are so right those dam things have a trail. Brentwood TN Is the headquaters for Comcheck. They should know what's what with every check in the system.

Here is a nice little illumination for anyone not familiar with comchecks and women who have a herd of truckers whom she makes a pretty good income off of via Comchecks. NOT all women do this frankly it's a certain percentage of women who have discovered that truckers do have and can get to money in relatively large amounts. I myself never had a problem with this. But even for me this will be worth watching. Can you understand what a woman can do with 10 truckers every 3 weeks all of them sending 50 to 100 now and then? Believe it or not, this video is a relatively clean one. It just illustrates what is possible with comchecks.

Crappie, a lot do not check ID but it sounds like there is more than one involved.

No, if you register a Comcheck, it can be made out to whomever the person who has the check wants. The company where I'm leased pays through Comdata. I elect to have a certain percent direct deposited, and the balance remains on my card. When I want the money that remained on the card I register a Comcheck. If I am cashing it, when I fill it out, after the check is registered, I put my name as payee. If my wife is depositing it, then she puts my company name on the check. Either way, I registered it using Comdata's app, and all I need is the check number and amount, no payee!
Payroll? This guy has his own authority! This was not a payroll deduction.

Why do you go through a long reply of how a Comdata card works for a driver at a carrier, and not take the time to read that he's not a driver at a carrier?

EFS has less numbers to confirm, but they seem to keep track of more things.

As for ComCheck, I knew of someone personally who got 10 years in the big house for stealing from them by fraudulent checks.

I believe they will figure out who did what to whom in reference to the question asked by the originator of this thread.

I know 5 drivers that operate under their own authority. 3 of them live right here in Hampton Roads. All 5 of them have received settlements from mostly brokers via Comdata and EFS. Lets make sure we are using the correct terminology. A comdata card is ISSUED TO YOU. A comcheck once the number is attached becomes a bearer instrument. In the case of the latter payroll is not the correct term but a closer term would be settlements. No point in becoming (chippy) about some miss worded posts.

If it were anybody else, I'd say you're right,l. But read his insufferably long posts, and you will see it is not just semantics.
