Got one, $50. I would rather just pay it and not catch any ####. Do we need to report these/will my company be notified?

Not a moving violation; no major consequence. Pay it; it goes away.
Quit parking like a putz. Got enough of those guys out there already.haz-matguru, HalpinUout, WildTiger1990 and 4 others Thank this. -
It's nice to work for a company that regards these as the cost of doing business.
passingthru69 Thanks this. -
How do you get a parking ticket as a day-cabber, Mack?!? Eating lunch on the wrong side of the street?
Edit: As a day-cabber I hardly stop - 12 hours to get it done before the slip-seater gets in. Load, unload, fuel and a wiz, or three, in between. -
Well, for example, parking on the street in front of the nursing home whose parking lot I can't get into before walking their pallets of medical supplies around the back.
baha and KillingTime Thank this. -
Yup. I'd eat that one too.
You know the ticketing officer is a..... fine, young, idealistic, law-bound, upstanding young man, who has yet to have a single iota of reality set in. -
That was a pretty common theme for our drivers that used to go to Washington DC. One guy got half a dozen in one week.
Dan.S, Brettj3876, passingthru69 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Sooo, if I don't say anything the company won't find out?
-
Notification will likely be sent to the company, regardless of what you do. You'll be in much deeper crap if you try to hide it.
I'm assuming this is Swift. The only things they will want is a copy of the ticket and if you want them to pay it and deducted from your settlement or pay it yourself. It's pretty much a non issue to them, unless you start to make habit of it. -
Just rude and inconsiderate to block the old folks home. I'd have the truck towed and impounded.
