I've wondered why it wouldn't be cheaper to use blimps to carry maybe 4 trailers at one time across the country. Maybe they can't carry that much weight; I don't know.

But if true, this sounds like some petty stunt a company who feels threatened and embarrassed would do in a desperate attempt to appear relevant when it realizes it's best days are now behind them.

What could possibly go wrong?

 

pretty sure hydrogen is no longer used for such purposes. but this is an interesting idea.
