Reputable 2290 e-file?

i did it myself for free and it was done and over just like that. no robocalls or spam to boot.

 

I haven't had any robocalls or spam... Maybe next year when it's nearly due I will get them...

 

They start a couple days before the IRS opens the system for payment. The ONLY reason to use an efile firm is if you need a stamped copy immediately.

I have been using Greentax2290.com for the last 3 years and they are very fast. Within 1 hour, they will email me the IRS stamped receipt. I have no problem using the provided receipt to get my IRP plates.

 

I mailed my return to the irs, received receipt in 3 weeks.

 

My plates are due in April. 2290 is due the end of July. If waiting 3 weeks to get my stamped 2290 will hinder my plate renewal, my 2290 is way overdue.

 

I mail mine in, makes someone at IRS open it and stamp it and mail it back. Makes them do a little work for their $550
