Airline leak

    I have a leaking air line that is located under that truck that runs along the frame and it is tied together with a few other lines... The issue is there is no possible way to get my head up into position to see it but I am able to feel it... What are my options as for fixing... I was going to use black electrical tape but was told that's not going to hold.??? Trying to get a clamp of some sort onto it might prove to be difficult....

    Rescue tape. Unbundle it then wrap it and bundle them back up.

    Dude, if you are talking about using electrical tape, bring it to the shop and get it fixed right, no excuse being cheap and thinking that it an easy fix.

    get a push in style union. cut the line at the leak and put the union in. dot approved and easy-ish to do blind.

    1st find the leak, determine the size of the line, then get a push in style coupling as mentioned earlier. Some times you have to use the eyes in the ends of your fingers....... to find a leak.

    Sometimes if you can't get at it you might be better off to pull a new hose through it.

    If the line is leaking it had to be rubbing, push connectors don't always seal good on old tubing.
