Do you have to pick dry van or reefer or do they make you do both

It all depends on what part of the country you live in. Dry van was not even an option for me in Florida. They do have freight for both all over though.

I will be in Columbus on Thursday. There should be three students coming out of there .... so we might bump into one another.

Well we had a change of plans. Currently broke down at Frieghtliner in Houston.

We got unloaded last night and went to get loaded this morning. On the way out I felt a little vibration but I thought it was the road.

We stopped a couple of miles away to weigh, pulled on the scales, pulled around and parked to go in to get ticket .... everything is cool up to this point.

We come out of the store and notice something on the ground .... it was the #### drive shaft. Snapped at the front.

Tow truck came and got us, dropped our trailer at their lot 2 miles away from where we broke down then we came on into Houston to service center.

We were in Baytown for those of yiu familiar with the area. We were on 146 at I-10.

I am glad it didnt come out while we were rolling down the road.

We will probably be here a few days they said.

Well be prepared to be a Freightliner for a week to 10 days... I live in Houston and I won't touch that dealership anymore that's the average wait time now

    wfutch79 Thanks this.

Thier lot is PACKED and they were still rolling in there. We left a little bit ago and came to a Days Inn around the corner they were trying to find a spot for one. It looks like a busy place but they do not seem to be in a hurry to fix anything.

Well today not much has changed. We are still here at the Days Inn waiting. Trainer called over around 3pm CST and they still havent looked at the truck. We are hoping they atleast check it out overnight tonight or early tomorrow morning and atleast have an idea of when we will be rolling again.

On another note we might get hit with a Tropical Storm if we are stuck here for the weekend. They are predicting up to 24 inches of rain .... which will shut this city down ... it floods during an afternoon thunderstorm most of the time.
