Sounds like a fleet truck.
Should do you good, my first truck was an FLD120 fleet truck. -
what kind of trailer? looks like about 6 - 6.5 at 67 mph 1550 - 1600 rpm if it's a 12.7L.
-
Not the 12.7....dry van.
Any way to improve on mpgs?
Saw a few posts drivers were claiming 7.8...7.9 -
I don't know anything about the 14L. Google google google.
Good Luck! -
If it's the 14l they were not very good on mpg.. I liked the motor but economy wasn't its strong suit.. my Experiance was in the 5's for mpgs

####....not sure which truck to pull the trigger on. Want Reliability but decent mpgs..DEF engines seem to be more of a Crapshoot
-
Everything is going to require maintenance.
-
Get a truck that is spec'd for the job. So many trucks, so few owners.
I don't get why anyone would say def engines are a crap shoot, there is a lot more issues about mileage and reliability then just the emissions stuff.
Just do the due diligence and don't get emotionally attached to any truck.Brettj3876 and Big Herb The Trucker Thank this. -
