Buying My First Truck?

    Looking to buy Columbia S60 455hp 10sp over w 3.58 on 22.5...probly gonna run all over U.S. with mounains occasionally
    Is this a good setup?
    What kind of MPGs can i expect...Any issues w these trucks?

    Sounds like a fleet truck.
    Should do you good, my first truck was an FLD120 fleet truck.

    what kind of trailer? looks like about 6 - 6.5 at 67 mph 1550 - 1600 rpm if it's a 12.7L.

    Not the 12.7....dry van.
    Any way to improve on mpgs?
    Saw a few posts drivers were claiming 7.8...7.9

    I don't know anything about the 14L. Google google google.

    If it's the 14l they were not very good on mpg.. I liked the motor but economy wasn't its strong suit.. my Experiance was in the 5's for mpgs

    ####....not sure which truck to pull the trigger on. Want Reliability but decent mpgs..DEF engines seem to be more of a Crapshoot

    Get a truck that is spec'd for the job. So many trucks, so few owners.

    I don't get why anyone would say def engines are a crap shoot, there is a lot more issues about mileage and reliability then just the emissions stuff.

    Just do the due diligence and don't get emotionally attached to any truck.
