So apparently this load I’m waiting on requires me to be fingerprinted on arrival and I can’t stop for 250 miles after the pickup and before the drop. I also have to send a freeform message on every stop I make after arriving and before departing, with information like where I stopped, why, estimated length, etc..
Is this a #### joke? Is it even legal to tell someone they can’t take a potty break for 250 miles, which can be 5-7 hours depending on route and traffic, and they’ll know because I’m actively tracked the entire time. I don’t care if I’m hauling solid gold bars, I’m gonna potty.
Very high value load...

I had a $32 million load of Microsoft Software, nobody asked for a thing from me.
The stupid thing was the imported into Canada used some two bit customs broker that wasn't open on weekends so I had to put it in bond.
A hundred miles may be more reasonable, watch way back in your mirrors, see if you are being followed. -
They care about the freight so much (and pretend to care about the driver), yet all these progressive office employees would have a panic attack if I asked to bring my gun with me for self-defense as they send me into a goldmine in two different gang infested areas. It’s a lot easier to kill the driver than to restrain him during a hijack, I’d assume?

Hmmm... Maybe if those are the terms of the load and you don't agree with the terms you should not take the load. I don't think agreeing with the terms and then violating them is proper.

As another poster said keep a close eye on your mirrors. Don't just watch for a single car following you watch for a pack of them. If you see the same car a few times or "cars" jot down the license plate to keep mental tabs.
