do you own dd15? what is the odometer reading? I have one with 650k miles. got this truck in 2014 and odometer was showing 284k miles. if I would pay dealers and shops to fix this unit during last 3 years I would be bankrupt for sure. DD15 is not a strong engine, its a POS.

yes I have 2 units. one at 670k 2014 one at 620k 2012. opinions are like butts. everyone has one but some are dirty. maintain the def system and buy boxed def instead of pump def, change oil regularly, wrench on it yourself you'll be fine. If yours is failing you need to look at how youre driving, maintaining it, and wrenching on it. my only issues have been sensors which easily swap out, air compressors and air dryer cartridges that are 1 day jobs and that's about it. If you're worrying about every CEL light that lights up then you need to carry a Nexiq to get you rolling. It's not hard to figure out what's wrong with a DD15. If its such a POS you should be driving something else unless you're not running your business right and cant afford to get out of it.brysol01 Thanks this.

have you changed air compressor yourself on cascadia ? having nexiq is not enough . are you using boxed def? why?

ya if any knows the problem with emissions on dd15 please let me know been havings issues for a year now pretty much replaced everything the computer told us to and still engine light with same codes
-
That's a REAL pain... it could be some electrical problem... or some sensor... so many things... and it's hard to find a REAL mechanic who knows how to troubleshoot these problems.... the "technicians" nowadays believe pretty much what the computer says and can't think outside the box....
Good luck to you... Me.. I'm glad I am driving another truck now with none of those problems... -
Ones new and ones old one will be thirsty on the diesel and one will be more fuel efficient.
