Video does not work for me, probably excessive ad blocking which I use several.

A true idiot or imbecile would know that stupid bed is raised. These kinds of really stupid people should be billed every penny for the replacement costs of that sign or bridge etc. I don;t know how to migrate from stupid past imbecile further down in english, there is nothing beyond imbecile.

There have been several high profile accidents involving raised dump bodies, including one near Hamilton ON Canada on the QEW which did millions of dollars worth of damage and closed the bridge for months.
The solution is quite simple. When the ECM reports the the vehicle is going 5 mph or more, the power take off should disengage and the hydraulic valve go in the down position. You could add an override if you needed that circumstance to continue, like a shutdown over ride. It would cost some money to add the solenoids and controls, but they are forcing many such things on the transportation industry because of the declining quality of drivers.

Not a bad idea at all @Studebaker Hawk. You won't be going 5 MPH even if you are spreading.

We share a yard with a construction outfit. About a month, maybe two, back, a guy forgot to lower his dump (or bumped the PTO). Plowed into and ripped down half of their fuel island canopy... I get in and everyone is standing around staring at it... Filled the quota for the days excitement, I do suppose. Lol.

They could do the same thing they do to our crane trucks, and that is put in a red light and alarm, just instead of it being for your cane not stowed away, it will be for when your bed is not in the traveling position.
