I keep thinking about the truck stops in Baytown. I wonder if they are under water, or high enough (for now anyway) to be ok. I did a 34 hour reset there awhile ago, but can't remember too much about the local topography except that it was mostly flat.

Imagine where all the raw sewage in Harris county is ending up now.
If you thought the Houston area smelled bad generally speaking, wait until some of this water recedes and the hot summer sun returns. -
It will be a toxic brew for sure. It holds the possibilities of spawning a Turdzilla.Plantfoam and motocross25 Thank this.

It is an absolute shame that this is the third year of flooding in Houston. And the still have signs up telling drivers. If the water is above ground turn around don't drown!!!! You would think ppl have learned by now
-
For many, there is nowhere to turn around to. Take a chance now or be inundated later. Pick your poison.

I loaded down in Houston Friday, and the people in the shipping office were planning on riding it out. Left a little after 3pm,and traffic was a mess on I45N.
Lepton1 Thanks this.
