GOOD CB Shop Ontario East?

Don't give up on the CB. This 2-wheeler enjoys the contacts. It's mostly a quiet ride across Sask / Manitoba, but picks up somewhat in northern Ontario. Alas, not like it used to be though.

 

Much north of toronto to calgary i rarely made contacts..Heck even had to take lotsa cd's cause i didnt pick up am/fm till i got sirus..That was 10 yrs ago and now i dont see that part of canada.

 

They all use VHF instead of CB west of ontario

 

30 miles on a CB?

I do pick up weird stuff from the waves bounced off the ionosphere sometimes at night if it's clear out.. But other than that I think a mile or two is all i get to communicate with..

 

I have done it in my cascadia..I was talkin to some locals on my stryker 955 with 7ft skip shooter..I was on the 95 headed north and picked them up around city limits and continued for about 30+ minutes..
