The fan switch in the cab isn't connected either. The fan does come on automatically when it gets hot though. Jake and fab switches aren't connected. This guy just rigs it up how he sees fit and tells me to go
Lepton1 Thanks this. -
You welcome but remember all mountains are differents ones you know it you will exactly know how too handle it as of my experience the only mountain that freaked me out was bozzman ehh not soo nice of a ride but where i really sh*** on my self was on rt 299 in cali i will never go that way does mountains are serious and the road is very winding

Mount eagle near Chattanooga had me break a sweat and almost check my underwear, no Jake break at 78000. This is why I want to stay Midwest. I won't go back thru west coast Rockies either -

Lot's of trucks out here today? Their engine brakes are as useless as teats on a boar hog, anyway
You can be dropped out of an airplane and if you go slow enough, you won't have to touch your brakes. Lots of super-truckers and paper towel haulers will cuss you as they blow by you, but don't worry about it. You'll get down safely and won't make ceramic disks out of your brake linings.
Occasional light braking every 30-45 seconds or so to keep speed in check is okay but if you feel like your having to apply more pedal travel (application pressure), for less slowing energy as you progress, you done screwed up
Grades are all different and many have varying degrees of descent as you proceed so these will be dealt with by experienced drivers accordingly but realize that some may have super tweaked out engine brakes combined with high horse power to rely on or may not be real heavy, so do don't follow their lead if you're new to the grade.Last edited: Aug 30, 2017
