my average for today was 4.77 per mile but only ran about 270 miles 3000 net per week can be done, i guess i normally shoot for about 2500 per week after all expenses some months i better that some months i don't quite meet that goal. depends on a lot of things and the type of freight your hauling who your contacts are what your expenses are ect.

 

A lot depends on your negotiating skills if your going off load boards. Typically you wont find those rates leased to a big company. Find a small 10-20 truck mostly o-o company and you'd be surprised at some of the rates. Doing local work in the north east with weekends off, my father and uncle are doing around 2500-2800 after fuel. Expenses are pretty low on the ole bulldog. 300$ monthly payment and basic maintenance
