Apply to those other companies and say you were new to the APAP and probably didn't wear it correctly the first time, so it showed non-compliance.
You can appeal through www.hireright.com if Prime put it on your DAC report.
Here's some more you can try, but try the others first and use these as backup plan:
TransAm
Sweet Express
Sunset Logistics (www.sunsetus.com)
R.E. West - terminal in Grand Rapids.

I am on the www.hireright.com website and to request my DAC report, it asks 'Where was your CDL license issued. It was originally issued in MO, but I transferred it to MI when I cam home. Do I state that it was issued in MI? will the records follow from MO? or should I request both?
-
I'd put Missouri.
You can put both states, but don't know if they charge for that or not. -
I am so pissed. Prime is the only Experience that I have....I can only assume that all these other companies are going to call them and/or request my DAC report. It says on HireRight that I won't see the report for 15-30 days. Just keep applying to these other companies and hope that they either don't call Prime or that they believe me?

Well, I have an interview with Green next Tuesday. We'll see how this goes.
-
That's good news; what little I've found about them is positive. Keep us posted.

Any luck with Green Transportation?
-
Actually, yes.
I do believe that after someone from Prime told Werner that I had 'safety Violations', they may have gotten into trouble or rethought what they were doing. I had called my old recruiter at Prime and told him that someone in their HR dept told an employer this. I think it's possible that he went and told someone, and their story changed. I had an interview with Green, and they offered me a training position. So has Verihas. Both Companies pulled my Hireright report and CAD. It is clean. Both companies also called Prime and apparently were not told the same thing that Werner was told. I have now seen my hireright report, and the only thing that is incorrect is Prime states that I 'quit'. This is untrue, but I'm not sure if that matters; as they have my driving record and work history as 'satisfactory', and they list me as 'eligible for rehire'. I am relieved, as I will be honest, after I heard what they told Werner, I was considering hiring a lawyer.
I am leaning towards Verihas, and would leave Wednesday to go for orientation. -
Thank you! this was extremely helpful. I have interviewed with 2 companies, and had to pull the sleep records. I called Cardinal, and of course they would only get the records for me if it were ordered by Prime; and they told me I would probably be charged by a sleep lab to have them downloaded. I do not have a sleep Doctor in my area to do it for me. I downloaded the program 'Sleepyhead', and was surprised at how easy it was to get the records.
