Steer Tire Damage

    It is a Bridgestone 283. TA set the tire aside because a company rep wants to look at it. I guess they've been having the same problem with a lot of tires. The way I see it, a hole like that makes it that much easier for an object to penetrate the tire if it hits the same exact spot and I don't want to be thinking about that when I'm driving.

    You did the right thing. I wouldn't drive around the block on that tire.

    Any damaged tire other than normal gravel damage is gone from the steer position asap on my truck .
