Interestingly enough, I think European trucks are cool. They are setup for tight turning radii because the roads there are not like where is here in the US. I don't know what the life of a trucker is in the UK for example, but, many US drivers stay in their trucks for months on end. I can't see that being done in a small cab over. I do like how trucks in other countries are setup to pull he load and not be loaded with the load to pull. The only issue I have with a cab over is in an accident (head on collision) you are the first one at the scene of the accident. Lol...Bean Jr. Thanks this.

Give me some examples of ancient technology then.

Now don't use things like facts ! Find it is funny that someone is going to tell me what the dash in my truck looks like . I been looking at them since 2008. After showing me a pic of the latest and greatest which is our ten year old parts. Oh thanks so much for the Maxx Force and MX pieces of dung. If this is examples of the great advances you guys have , KEEP THEM!spyder7723, Bean Jr. and AModelCat Thank this.

Don't forget that POS Mercedes MBE.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
One could have a great argument discussing which was the worst engine, Max Force, or MBE....... Maybe they make turds on both sides of the ocean.
Different places different priorities. Euro's drive trucks for a couple of hundred K miles (at 55 mph), and then export them to the middle east or Far East, where they pull of all the emissions stuff and run them for ever. North American trucks run for 800 to 1,000K and then get sent to South America, where they pull off all the emissions stuff and run them forever.
See, much different situations!Gearjammin' Penguin, 98989 and Bean Jr. Thank this.
