It is the I-5 SB Grapevine pass going into the LA area. I numbered the lane from left to right, so the fastest lane is number 1 and the slowest lane is number 4. In this area, trucks use lane 3 to pass a slower climbing vehicle in lane 4, then go back into lane 4, unless they happen to be empty and can do 55+mph then they stay in lane 3 all throughout.
If you happen to see a red tow-truck vehicle in this area, stay away from him
What would you do in this scenario?

"911."
Hello, I am driving down hwy X, at the 22 mile marker. I believe I have someone trying to carjack me and trying to get me pulled over. Can you send help? I'm scared.DDlighttruck, dunchues and rank Thank this. -
Take the right lane and Pray to god if someone needs to have a flat tire in the morning, It is him.

I would get angry and then I would do something stupid. But as a convicted felon that is what is expected of me.
Now before the conviction I would simply slow down and let him get away from me. Letting crazy people ruin your day is not something that is ever cost effective.yuban Thanks this. -
I've been practicing patience and not passing because I am 1-2 mph faster than the truck in front of me. Maybe because I'm in a crazy NE state that's new to me. I don't feel like being a ###### on the freeway here. It's 65mph max. Some are going slower. Realize that the difference between 64mph and 65mph is nothing in the big picture. Within an hour that driver will be gone if u let the aggravation just go on ahead and you kick back a few lengths. Just saying -I understand 100%.

Drop a gear and let him go.
Save yourself the stress, anger, and rage.
So you get to the top of the hill 3 minutes later,
Big deal. Keep on trucking. -
Man...that would boil my blood-
That's about the worst thing a car can do to a truck- Slowing you down on a hill- Then speeding off into the night......
He's the type of ### hole that would find your wallet you lost-Keep the cash and Throw the wallet with your indentifications in the garbage can.Last edited by a moderator: Sep 11, 2017

Like your thinking.
Often thought about that myself.
Of course I'd aim it just low enough to blow out a few trailer tires, then laugh as I rolled past them. -
You're the professional. Like many others have stated. Just get off the gas. Let him run his race. Be cool. No big deal. Does it matter in the long run? Protect yourself and your CDL. Don"t be impatient. Think about the long term effects if something happened. Just throttle down a little. Hell it saves fuel. In the mountains that can be a huge savings.

Call the Law. And maintain your pull. If there is a little thump with your go pro camera going that's that.
Cars or drivers cannot interfere with oncoming traffic in any way.
There was a time or two those loaded drives would simply push a offending vehicle into the side of mount eagle in spots. A little shove at the rear axle and away they went. Sometimes end over end.
Who me? Taint no one run me down yet. lol.
Another was a million candle power sunlamp. Fire that into the eyes of the offending driver, particularly at night. Destroys that man's vision. Make sure no one else is around for him to wreck or run into when he loses the entire interstate after you fire that beam.
My actions I talk about are pretty bad. Really bad. But when there is no Law for love or money for god knows how long against a hostile car... you do what you do. They cannot take the hits you can take back in the day. A thump from you pretty much tears a axle out of them.
The last time someone interfered with me in Texas off 35 north to 30 west in arlington downtown on the S ramp flyover, that one I made room for at the risk of my life. I could have held my lane and allowed the trailer to decap the two stupid teens in that black mazda convertable that forced their way past me in 2001. But I chose to do what I can to save them.Lepton1 Thanks this.
