I can't believe 16 years already. I remeber the day it happened. I was in 7th grade. All day we watched the news at school.
Ever since that day everything has been a little off.

You are so right. I feel quite off EVERY year on this day, especially today, after all the Irma (and Harvey) stuff.
Our daughter was 10 months old and climbing out of her crib when we saw the news. I'll never forget, either. I was back in IT at the time, and almost got sent to NYC a while prior. Wife's brother was supposed to be there working on HVAC but had a tooth pulled day before.

Every name was read by victims family member and all I did was cry while thinking of my father.Losing someone you love is devastating but a close part of the family is much worse.

 

And you mentioned my name why?
