Hmmm... Truck is under after market warranty also, doubt this would be covered? How much foes into changing them by yourself?

If that is soot from injector cups, like was posted above, I see an in frame in this guys future. Washed out cylinder walls and a blown bottom end. Better hope it is Algae.

If you have one of those warranties or not, if that is soot, you are doing real damage to your motor. What is your oil level like? Is it rising?

If it is his injector cups, he better be scared.

the injector has 3 O-rings. the bottom one is worn. some amount (very little) of burned diesel (contains soot) goes into fuel system. it's better to replace all O-rings. 3 on injectors and one on injector cup.

why? the cup is not screwed into head on new isx ? it's not coming out from top ?
