Exactly. Only works if you have somebody finding loads who is intelligent and motivated. I tried that too for the exact same reasons and it didn't work.
    You know what they say.
If you want a job done right do it yourself.

If that's the only worthwhile question you have to ask it's no wonder you're losing and will continue to do so.

I seldom ever call anyone asking for a load but when I do I've been watching it all day. And I know exactly who the shipper is and usually the receiver too. I'm telling them what it will take to cover the load on my truck no if's, and's or but's.

I know my markets and I'm not just hoping and praying to hit a bullseye while blindfolded.

You don't have to drive illegally but from all the "I will not do that's" that you are posting I can tell you that you're competing with the cheap freight crowd looking for easy loads. What is your problem with driving overnight if you have the hours? There's a lot of pansies out here that shut their truck down at night time complaining that they can't make any money. Some of the best "open up that checkbook and show me the money" loads I ever did were overnighters and usually only about 300-400 miles... ...easy runs. I ain't really trying to pick on you but I see what your problem is. Same as always, staring at you in the mirror.

I'm agree with Rollin Coal. Don't be afraid to say "NO" for cheap loads. There are only some areas have only cheap loads to get out, but you should know it and take two-way money for round trip.

Lol no, I leave Monday around noon and try to be back home on Friday before 6-7pm. I only do 1800-2500 miles per week.
Have two little kids at home, gotta have more home time.
My truck has been in the shop for the last 5 weeks. Getting lots of work done including engine rebuild. Really bothers me to miss up on all of the action, what is going on right now

I know he's the real deal. I've seen some of what he books. It is a fair question though and I understand the skepticism. Lots of people out here just making #### up. On the other hand some people are kicking ### and taking names. I know when times are tough and things looking down its hard to believe anyone could be winning. And all of us go through times like that. But I can't imagine anyone not winning in current conditions unless they're just inept. That might come across as arrogant or whatever but its the truth.

I'm usually working on a weekends, so my working week is different from week to week. I'm trying to use all of my working hours before restart and that's work's fine for me, because in weekends drive easier. Less traffic, Weight Stations don't working usually so it's look like vocation trip :)

He never got back to me but the reasoning on my question - The MC# Plays a Vital Role also- (A Clean MC)

Usually, established carriers can come to terms with folks a tad easier than newer entrnts-

Have an established Broker I use On Occasion to get back.......Says he doesn't Use Anyone with an MC 600 series or newer- He says its always a huge Risk- Too many No Shows-Or Fall Offs or Claims.
