If not then have you ever hauled metal? Look at the relatively small size of a steel coil. That ONE coil makes for a maximum gross weight load.
Sure, there's plenty of air amidst all that scrap metal. But if it were all melted down to a solid chunk of metal, how many equivalents of steel coils are we looking at? Quite a few.DDlighttruck Thanks this. -

If there are a lot of cast pieces that would add up. Just think of the weight of a slack adjuster or s-cam.
