Reality of Swift: How to get screwed

When I returned to trucking after an 11 plus year abscence, I did 6 months with Swift to get reestablished. It sucked as expected. I did 6 months, kept my nose clean and moved up to a GREAT carrier. Sometimes you just gotta pay some dues, sometimes you pay them again. Having driven before, I knew the game and played it.

 

Swift is rotten. Use them as they use you and move on.

I like swift. They are one of the trucks I can pass! And they provide endless laughs in the "swift at it again" picture posts.

 

Gosh. How could someone so smart go with such a terrible company?

Before I signed with my first company it took me 2 seconds to realize Swift was a bad starter company that I should steer clear of. Literally, 2 seconds of research.

How did you end up there?

Something must have made the whole thing attractive.
