If this truck is burning oil 656,000 miles, would that cause constant regens? Will rebuilding engine help, or delete egr/dpf?

Yes burnt oil will put a lot more ash into the DPF filter and cause regens.

Make sure you are not over filling the engine. Maxxforce 13 have the worst dipstick I have ever seen. The full mark is ONLY the hash marks, NOT the notches on the sides.
2013Maxx Thanks this. -
I just fill to middle of hash mark

As far as oil pressure is concerned, I was advised that the oil pump bushing need to be replaced, oil light comes on from time to time after hard run. Appreciate your advice.
-
Never had to do any oil pressure related repairs other than faulty pressure sensors. I would confirm your low oil pressure before digging into it. The oil pump is behind the front cover and not a small job to get into.
-
Was told the oil pump bushing need to be replaced for low oil pressure?
-
Always confirm oil pressure problems with a mechanical gauge. If confirmed low, then the fun begins, because there are other things than can cause low oil pressure besides the pump.

The dealer gives me the impression they're not 100% sure, and have expressed how they hate to touch it, therefore I don't really trust them! Other shops won't touch a mf13!
