How did you do the egr delete...?
Was it like this before the delete..? -
Volvo D12 EGR Performance kit | EGR Delete Kit | OTR Performance I did delete 3 months ago it was ok wasnt diff but no more check engine so 2 weeks ago no power last week run overhead change oil ring fuel air filters oil filters no difference took load to fl on my way back to ky empty nd im on 75 all flat land dont see no reason why i couldnt do 70 mph without problems look like its struggling nd chocking
-
If you had a BAD egr valve before you did that you still have a BAD egr valve now..
The kit works by tricking the ecm into thinking the valve is working right so no egr code
BUT if the valve was bad and is not closed 100% you will have a loss of power/bad fuel mpg/black smoke. -
So what can i do to close it 100% i check valves they was in closed position i hammer them down just to make sure and i only blocked two pipes for coolant didnr do nothing for exhust i tgought when i unploged egrs nd hooked computer that would kill power to egrs do they not functional
-
check probably EPG Is getting Stuck Behind turbo.
-
Did you change the boost pressure sensor.. it will mess with you if it goes bad and doesn't thro a code when it goes bad
-
I did when i installed this kit but how do u close egrs 100% what else i could block buddy of mine had working egrs when he installed this kit his truck pulls 30% better than it used to more power better fuel millage mine no difference
-
Some people pull them and weld them closed
-
I might just do that cause my cross over pipes exhust part still get hot which means exhust still flow through them
