Wow,that's a neat looking cab-over. You were parked by the dump truck all day long? Did you help him re-chain it or did you not notice it,too? By the way, where were you at? Maybe you were not with this driver, but another one?

Nope, never inspected his load for him. He rolled in after lunch to the Petro in Indiana. Where did you "catch" him?

Very well said sir-hat's off to ya!
It's ashame nowadays- hard to find somebody that IS minding their own business.I find also that load securement/MY load securement is a personal thing.I dont know when that started(being personal) seems like back in the 80's n 90's it wasnt a problem.
    Guess back then,you got help-advice-general #### chat-talking about securement/the load----------
Now-you have that eerie feeling of being watched-yup-theres some nitwit taking pictures, video of what your doing.
Never used to be that way.

Is that what you professional heavy haulers tell the DOT inspectors?" It's a personal thing and you have no business looking or commenting on my securement"

I don't think that's what was being implied. There's different ways to secure something and be completely within the regs.

Then there's those that don't have enough securement and don't either know any better or just flat out don't care.

So,to sum up what I've learned in this thread. There are few rules for load securement, just do what you want.Never ask, look at or comment about load securement because it makes drivers mad.Always ask about load securement or it makes drivers mad.( Seems like conflicting info, but it's on here).Never post other than crystal clear pictures. DDlighttruck is a proud international driver. Asking questions makes you a keyboard warrior.Happy Trails.
