Where's u tankers loading at this morning

In Shreveport, at my customer.
Last night a 'Driver' decided he was done loading, starts the truck up, moves the chalks and takes off. Nevermind that there was still a loading arm in his tank pumping product. Luckily he didn't rip the arm off and they were able shut it off.



Or they would have been had he immediately told them.

In order to leave you must scale out and collect your bills. He pulls up to the scale and the attendant immediately sees his weight is way light and goes out to talk to him. He lies and says he is taking a half load, all the while sweating and getting nervous. She says she has to call someone about it because that's not what the order says and he goes ballistic on her. They immediately know something is wrong and send an response team back to the bay and see a lone operator standing in a 3000 gallon puddle of Snot.

This is what makes me sick. Thankfully it wasn't hazmat as this place is surrounded by neighborhoods and waterways. But how stupid do you have to be pull out from a loading rack, not even knowing if you're done and not even checking to see if the arm is still in your trailer? The operator had left to go to the bathroom. 5 minutes was all it took for this Ape to shut down a plant and get him banned for life from EVERY Solvay chemical plant and his company a huge clean up Bill.

But do all that and first try to sneak out and then blatantly lie about about, them threaten an office girl with violence of she doesn't let him out of the plant.


Just sickened and stunned.

What company was that? I have done them loads a few months ago. Do they still load you to the max?

 

This was at WSP-SOLVAY, on the NW side of Shreveport, on the north side of Cross Lake. They only load up to 45k. I haven't had a load go over that in several months. They wouldnt tell me what the drivers company was.
