Abilene is ok.
Freymiller (Restore Program)
Stevens Transport
May Trucking Company
Western Express
FFE (Frozen Food Express)
Titan Transfer
You'll have to call for details. Pretty sure Freymiller will hire you which would be my first choice. Try all of them. Ignore what the websites have about experience and apply anyway. Companies are bending their rules these days.Last edited: Oct 3, 2017
trkrmichael Thanks this. -
I would say western express avoid if possible. They have constant ads on Craigslist and it's quite obvious flat out lying. What else are they lying about?
trkrmichael and Highway_Executive Thank this. -
thank you guys much appreciated , at least I have a starting point

I wasnt sure if Stevens was automatics ..heard 10 speeds from a driver
-
Location?
My company Veriha got me back on the road in 2 weeks. They have a mixed fleet of manuals and autos. -
I think Schneider offers a 3 day refresher course
trkrmichael Thanks this. -
I considered Veriha, do you like them? Are the Bose seats nice?
-
Call and say you're interested in working for them if you can have an automatic. They might have a 10 speed stick shift in their cdl school just so the students don't get the automatic restriction. Best to call and ask.trkrmichael Thanks this.

To be honest, I'm not sure how consistent Veriha is with the advertised perks. I did get a Direct TV but not a Bose seat. Lately, they've been adding new trucks and I'm not sure what equipment they'll have.
I'm still with Veriha and it seems like as long as you're doing your job reasonably well, they have your back. They can nitpick sometimes, but it's not to bad. One of the main annoyances to me is they do not want drivers running the tollways.Teddy_Salad Thanks this.
